About Us

About the Founder

John Aungko Thang was born in Myanmar to a family of business parents. He was very sick when he was born and all the hospital doctors and nurses gave up on his life/health; all people expected him to soon die. Whenever people heard the bell of death ringing they would visit his parents’ house to give comfort, then realized that he was still alive. By God’s grace, something amazing happened to him that the world needs.

Education and Family

John has earned a Bachelor of Arts (LLB), Diploma of International Relationships and Diploma of Business Administration. He currently lives at South side of Indianapolis with his beautiful wife and two blessed children and is employed with Family and Social Services Administration for the State of Indiana.

Passion

God has given John the same dreams every year since he was age four. In 1994 God spoke to him by the scripture of “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” (Luke 4:18-19)

In the summers of 1995 and 1996, John was much revived with evangelical devotion; he was baptized in 1997. He led friends and youth in a 1998 Christian group named “New Life” and founded PEACE ministry in AD 2000. Over one million motivation flyers were printed with the word of God (Mark 15:16) in different languages and spread to the world.

Since John came to the United State, his passion is more fired and has kept him involved in the community, ministry and church activities. His calling is to serve God by serving those like you. His heart is always concerned for the poor, orphanages, schools, elderly, children, families, isolated and rejected, homeless, refugee/ immigrant, prisoner, sick and little ones. John is eager to use his whole life for peace.

To God alone be the glory.

Make A Difference Today

Our Vision

Our mission is to go into all parts of the world, locally and globally, where no one else goes so that we can save lives and build better futures. We will be feeding the hungry, healing the sick, and serving the poor by providing basic necessities such as nutritious food, water, clothing, hygiene, shelter, disaster relief, maternal, child care and medical supplies to all those in need. By doing this we want to help people find and build a personal relationship with God and help them succeed in life physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Jesus

Who is Jesus? Let me introduce to you about The Lord Jesus Christ for your eternal life.

Jesus is the savior of the world for you and me and for all humanity. For God so loved the world and sent His Son to die for your sins. “The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.” (Colossians 1:15).

The important things are who is Jesus to you? Jesus died in our place so we could have a relationship with God and be with Him forever, but it did not end with His death on the cross. He rose again and still lives! Christ died for our sin… He was buried… He was raised on the third days, according to the Scriptures. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

How can you be saved? “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” (Acts 16:30). So we must believe that “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13)

Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life” (John 8:12).

Why? Because they don’t know Christ! Jesus Christ is the One that brings peace in our hearts.

What We Believe

  • We believe that The Holy Bible is God’s Word. It is inspired, accurate, perfect, and applicable to our everyday lives.
  • We believe that there is only One True God that exists eternally in three persons…the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (commonly known as the Trinity).
  • We believe that the heavenly Father is the source of all that exists, whether of matter or spirit.
  • We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things.
  • We believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ (Messiah), Jesus Christ is the Son of Living God. He is God incarnate.
  • We believe in the present ministry of The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter, has come to glorify Christ.
  • We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Salvation is the gift of God to man.
  • We believe ‘the Church’ is the Body of Christ, meaning Church of Christ. In the spiritual unity of true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ are members of His body.
  • We believe in the Praise and Worship of The Lord through giving, praying, singing, clapping, lifting of hands, crying, shouting, dancing, other tongues and many other more.
  • We believe that The Lord Jesus Christ commands all believers to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world and to make disciples of all nations, called Missions and Service.
  • We believe the Bible teaches that each of us, under leadership, must commit ourselves to reach others for Christ, to worship Him with other believers, to build up the body of believers–with ministries of love and compassion in practical service.
  • We believe that male and female Humanity were originally created in the image of God.
  • We believe that Satan was originally a great and good angel. He was against God, so that he was cast out of God’s presence.
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. God will reward the righteous with eternal life in heaven, and the unrighteous to everlasting punishment in hell
  • We believe in the power of the Lord Jesus Christ in ministry: the anointing of oil by the elders of the church, Circumcision of the Spirit.
  • Water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Holy Communion or Sacraments is act of remembering what the Lord Jesus did for us on the cross. It’s not means of salvation, but is God’s channels.
  • We believe in the promise regarding the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. This is an eternal covenant between God and the seed of Abraham to which God is faithful.
  • We believe in the literal second coming of Christ at the end of this age, and Great tribulation. The true Church is Holy Spirit are united together in the body of Christ, and awaits the return of her Lord.
  • We believe that we are salt and light of the world, hands and feet’s of God and witness of the Lord Jesus Christ for the humanitarians. Believing that all the children of God are not lost forever.
